We are a small, family-run business seeking a full-time/part-time barista to assist in our cafe operation.
You will be...

•Preparing hot and cold beverages for our customers, including but not limited to coffee, tea, smoothies, etc.
•Assisting in prepping simple menu items such as an eggwiches, a panini sandwiches, etc.
•Keeping our store clean and tidy (Cleaning/ Mopping/ Wiping)
•Making cash/debit/credit card transactions with our POS system.
•Assisting with other cafe operations when necessary.


The following skills will be considered an asset:

•Be Able to multi-tasks in a "Very" fast-paced environment
•Must be legally entitled to work in Canada at least 6 months or longer
•Must be friendly, a team player, demonstrate initiative, and service oriented
•Ability to stand long periods of time
•Must be able to work various shifts weekdays, weekends and holidays.
•Must be able to open or close shifts which start as early as 7:30am and late as 8:00pm
•Must have excellent customer service skills


You must...

•Have 1 - 2 years barista experience working in a cafe, coffee shop, restaurant
•Enjoy working in a children friendly environment. After all, there will be lots of kids and toddlers coming to our cafe.
•Be able to communicate in English well.
•Be dependable, punctual, friendly, outgoing, polite, accountable and most importantly honest.
•Have basic kitchen skill and understand basic rules of hygiene, sanitation and safety in food/drink processing
•Have basic computer skill to operate Point of Sale terminal

Full-time: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week. One weekend day availability is required.
Part-time: 20-25 hours/week. One weekend day availability is required.
