料理をする、という行為は最も重要なサービスです。仕込みから仕上げまで一生懸命に忠実に、手を抜かず行うということは、オープン当初から今日まで受け継がれてきました。キッチン、ホール共に、未経験からはじめた方が多く活躍しています。経験者から未経験者まで、経験に応じて一緒にステップアップしていきましょう。

ホールスタッフは、英語でしっかりとコミュニケーションが取れる方、且つ英語を学ぶ情熱を持っていることが最低条件となります。

P/T Server and Kitchen Helper Needed - Guu Gastown

Duties include assisting with prep and cooking Japanese izakaya cuisine, dishwashing, and clean up.

- Must be a strong employee who is able to perform these tasks while under pressure
- Have a strong passion for preparing quality foods and put the customer's experience first
- Be able to work as a team with colleagues but also able to work responsibly by oneself
- You must be able to speak fluent English; also being able to speak Japanese is an asset, but not required
- You must have Food Safe Lvl 1 and follow kitchen safety guidelines
- Kitchen experience is not a requirement and we are happy to provide training.

This position will be a great opportunity for anyone wanting to learn more about Japanese cuisine as you will have the chance to assist with the creation of preparing traditional dishes and being able to express yourself creatively in the kitchen.

We are also looking for servers - experience is not required and training will be provided if needed. Part time positions available, 3 days a week: 4pm-1am. Compensation is $9.20 plus tips. You must have Serving It Right certification. Must be friendly, easy to talk to, have a good attitude and be responsible. You should also be good at promoting and selling food and beverages.
