Job Title: Receptionist/ Office Assistant (English Speaking)
Location: New Westminster
Work hours: 40hrs/week, Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm
Compensations: Approx. $25,000 to $31,000/yr (DOE) and Benefit package (DOE) * Please let us know your salary expectation in your resume.
Main Job Duties:
- Answering telephone, screen and direct calls
- Monitoring visitor access and maintain security awareness
- Preparing correspondence and documents
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining appointment diary either manually or electronically
- Monitoring and maintain office equipment
- Controlling inventory relevant to Head Office
- Tidying and maintain the office area
Education and Experience
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
- Knowledge of computers (Microsoft and Macintosh)
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Keyboard skills
- Ability to work a switchboard
Minimum Requirements:
- English language skills in both written and verbal (Business level)
- Exemplary interpersonal and professional communication skills
- Outstanding client service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- A meticulous attentiveness to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer skills in MS Office, PowerPoint and Excel is essential
- A motivated, proactive, insightful and creative nature
- Permanent residency or Canadian citizenship
