Join a cooking class on August 18th, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., and learn cooking skills, improve your English and have fun! Lots of food to eat and some to take home take home, demonstration and participation.
Various cuisines and dishes will be covered. Some of the dishes we will make include Salmon and Vegetables Baked in Parchment Paper, Cauliflower Soup with Brown Butter and Individual Chocolate Souffles!
Printed recipes provided. Suitable for beginner cooks or more experienced.
Classes are held at 1333 Kingsway, about 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver. 4 to 6 students per class - lots of personal attention! .

September 8th -- "Glorious Grains & Legumes"
3 Week Series, September 8, 15 and 22 (6:30 - 9:00 p.m.) May also be possible to come for one or two nights only.
Want to incorporate more grains, lentils and dried beans into your diet, but unsure how to cook with them? This is the class for you! You'll be guided through preparing an amazing array of healthful and delicious salads, soups, side dishes, entrees (and even dessert!), using quinoa, farro, barley, bulghur wheat, black rice, French lentils, split peas, black beans, chickpeas and more! Some of the dishes we will make include Split Pea Soup with Feta, Mint and Yogurt; Lemony Quinoa and Chickpea Pilaf; Indian Dal; Butternut Squash Risotto with Crispy Sage and Reduced Balsamic and Creamy Basmati Rice Pudding with Brown Sugar Roasted Mango and Pineapple.
Most of the recipes will be Vegetarian and/or Vegan, and a few will include meat/fish/chicken.
