Synapsis is currently accepting applications for the position of PC Technician in
our Operations - IT Department.

Candidates will install, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair personal computers,
servers, notebooks, hardware and PC/Mac operating systems as well as provide technical
support. You will need to be able to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and
ensure consistent productivity and quality of service. We are looking for a friendly, reliable,
professional, detail and customer-oriented individual to join our company.

Responsibilities:

Assembly of computer systems
Meet production schedule while maintaining the highest level of quality
Coordinate the repair of computer systems, components and other hardware
Provide technical support and RMA requests to customers in person, over the phone
and occasionally onsite
Communicate with customers and arrange service appointments








Qualifications:




Previous experience as a PC Technician
Experience should include the following, but no limited to: PC/Mac assembly, repair
and setup, Windows (including Server), MacOS, Linux, and Virtual Hypervisors
(ESXi, Xenserver, Hyper-V), drive imaging software, software drive recovery tools,
notebook repairs, printer maintenance and setup, Active Directory, RAID systems, IP
phones, virus removal, routers, switches, and cabling
Problem solving skills
Excellent customer relational and organizational skills
Ability to effectively respond to interruptions, prioritize and multitask in a busy
environment
Good oral and communication skills
A+ Certified a must
Other certifications are an asset









Physical Demands

While performing the cuties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use
office equipment. Furthermore, the employee is occasionally required to exert up to 20 lbs.
of force and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently to move objects (rackmount servers, laser
printers, etc).
