by LSI from バンクーバー 2012/07/19 09:47:22

Part-time Office Assistant (Japanese English bilingual) – contract work

“It’s almost impossible to describe what is it like to work at LSI,” says one of LSI’s staff. “I would have never imagined it to be so different and unique.”

Imagine being part of a team that creates unique, life-changing workshops and business seminars. Imagine going out on a boat to catch local crabs in Jericho beach as part of a team building experience. Imagine organizing a conference for top CEOs in locations ranging from Vancouver to Tokyo and beyond.

This is LSI, a business strategy and process improvement consulting firm that is transforming organizations and people world-wide. LSI is one of the most respected firms in North America which specializes in organizational transformation called “lean thinking.” Lean thinking and Toyota Way methodologies are sweeping the world of business because of its long-term effectiveness in changing the way companies operate.

LSI works with companies across North America, Asia and Europe to train people and implement lean management techniques based on the Toyota Way Principles. Our clients range from small businesses to large Fortune 500 corporations. We are one of the few companies in North America with coaches who have had direct lean implementation experience from Japan.

Our mission is to "transform the world" one person at a time, by changing the way people think, behave, and dream about their future vision. We believe that - by reducing waste in companies - we will create a better world with a better environment. Our clients will describe us as "unique company with amazing characteristics." They often comment that our programs and seminars have changed their thinking forever and contributed to the personal and business success in a substantial way.

Due to an increased demand for our services particularly during our peak season, we have an opening for a part-time Japanese-English speaking Office Assistant on contract. The expected work is approximately 50% (3 to 4 days a week), for a duration from August 2012 to December 2012.
