Job Description:
- Assist clients in Japanese or Korean or Mandarin or Cantonese.
- Suggest hair style compatible with client’s physical features or determine style from client’s instructions and preferences.
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair.
- Perform specialized perms, such as Japanese Straight perms, Digital perms.
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair,
- Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair.
- Apply hair extensions.
- Shampoo and rinse hair.
- Perform receptionist duties and order supplies.
- Train or supervise other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices and helpers.
- Provide excellent customer service.

Qualification:
- 3 years of hairstylist experience.
- A willingness to experiment and learn new ideas and techniques.
- Japanese or Korean or Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.
- Intermediate in English.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Asian hairstyling experience is an asset.

Wage & Work Hours: $14/Hour + Tips, Travel Allowance, 40 Hours/Week
