Saltworks is a Vancouver based technology company: www.saltworkstech.com. We are seeking a general laborer with either Korean or Japanese language background.
Saltworks is a fast-paced English work environment located near Hastings and Commercial Drive. Every day we work very hard inventing and building new things. We are currently building a new type of desalination technology. We need someone to help with general labor tasks and interacting with the team.
Typical tasks will include:
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness
- Operating simple machines that make our parts
- Assemble parts with instruction from Saltworks’ team
Job requirements:
- Reasonable English skills required
- Must be “handy,” for example able enjoyed arts & crafts, sewing, or mechanics
- Must be fit, careful and a safe worker
- Past work experience and no “mommy’s boys” please
- Females encouraged to apply, this is not heavy work, it is hard work that takes care and precision
- $10/hr wage
- Valid work visa until at least June 2011
