Job Title: Hairstylist (NOC: 6271)

Salary: $12.50 Hourly, for 40.00 Hours per week

Skill Requirements:
: Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
: Hairstylist license or certificate is required
: 1 to 2 years of experience is required
: Speak, Read, and Write English


Duties
: Assist Japanese clients both in English and Japanese;
: Suggest hair style compatible with clients’ physical
features or determine style from clients’ instructions
and preferences;
: Provide Japanese techniques of hair cutting, trimming,
perming and colouring;
: Apply bleach, tints,dyes or rinses to clour, frost or
streak hair;
: Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic
treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp
and hair;
: Apply hair extensions;
: provide shampoo and rinse along with a relaxation massage;
: Perform receptionist duties and order supplies.
