SECOND CUP IS SEEKING SALES ASSOCIATES/BARISTAS FOR OUR CAFE LOCATION IN VANCOUVER, BC!

Second Cup is the Canadian leader in the specialty coffee market delivering superior quality, service excellence and coffee passion that is second to none.


■Major Responsibilities

・Serve the "World’s Greatest Coffee" and all other Second Cup products to guests
・Utilize Second Cup’s Seven Service Standards with all guests
・Handle and be responsible for cash received for Second Cup products
・All opening and closing duties, including equipment maintenance and merchandising
・Daily cleaning duties, including maintenance of guest service areas
・Preparation of The Europeans, Second Cup’s trademark espresso beverages
・Entertainment of guests with Barista Flair and positive energy


■Knowledge and Skills

・Possess clear and effective communication skills
・Able to exercise initiative and work independently
・Capable of prioritizing tasks and manage time efficiently
・Ability to adapt quickly to change
・Must have an outgoing and passionate personality
・Ability to handle a high volume of guests quickly and efficiently
・Enjoys a challenge and has fun with unique situations
・Ability to work in an environment that encourages and fosters teamwork, participation, creativity, openness, honesty and mutual respect
・Must achieve a passing grade (85%) on the Certified Sales ・Associate Exam
・Must meet all Barista Qualifications - Barista Oral Exam - Barista Practical Exam
