One World Agency is an international student agency located in Vancouver, Canada. One World Agency’s primary focus is on assisting students from Japan, Korea and other countries to locate and enroll in schools in Canada. The company also provides other services to students such as assistance in locating accommodation, jobs and travel opportunities.
One World Agency is seeking a Marketing Director to manage all aspects of our marketing to the Japanese market in Japan and Canada. The person filling this position will manage all aspects of One World Agency’s marketing and public relations in the Japanese language and will report directly to the President of the company.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of our sales department
* Establish distribution networks for products and services, initiate market research studies and analyze their findings, assist in product development, and direct and evaluate marketing strategies.
* Plan, direct and evaluate advertising campaigns to promote the sales of our services.
* Develop and implement communication strategies and information programs, publicize activities and events, and maintain media relations
* Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the design, development and maintenance of our Internet sites to manage our Internet presence including public relations, communications and commercial activities.



Requirements:


* A university degree in a field related to Information Technology or Web site content.
* Experience in Web site design, interactive media development, data administration or information systems analysis.
* A college diploma or university degree in business administration, public relations, marketing or communications or a related field with a sales or marketing specialization.
* One year or more of experience in doing business in an international business setting.
* Experience in sales and marketing.
* Fluency in Japanese and experience in working in a business environment in the Japanese language.
* Experience as an international student or in working with international students.
* Completion of a FITT Program or similar.
* Strong communications skills
* Ability to communicate in spoken and written English.



Salary Details
Salary: $27.00/hour @ 40 hour per week
