Part Time Instructor/Coach Position with International Consulting Company

LSI is an international business consulting company which is experiencing rapid growth due to high demand world-wide. LSI’s focus includes three primary sectors: 1) Consulting Services 2) Consulting Strategy and 3) Consulting Systems.

LSI has an immediate opening for a part time instructor/coach position. The instructor/coach will be responsible for delivering or managing training related to Toyota Way, operations, manufacturing, or supply chain. This person must have prior experience teaching business, conducting consulting projects, or managing or delivering operations or supply chain projects.

Already considered the most experienced and respected consulting company in Canada in the field of Toyota management technique and operational system, LSI specializes in teaching Japanese business technique and Toyota processes to companies in Canada, the US, Japan, and other countries. We provide consulting and training at numerous locations throughout the world. In the past 12 months, our training and conference locations included Vancouver, San Francisco, Florida, New York, Calgary, Honolulu, Japan, and others. We have a strong relationship with Toyota from Japan and focus on providing Toyota-style training.

We work with both local companies and international Fortune 500 companies, including such companies as Johnson & Johnson, United Airlines, Weyerhaeuser, Hitachi, and many others.

We are looking for a part time instructor who may teach or deliver workshops related to operations and supply chain. The amount of hours will be dependent on the experience level of the applicant.

Position: Part Time Instructor/Coach

Requirements: Bilingual (Japanese and English); must be able to speak, write and read in both English and Japanese

Education: College or University degree

Experience: Two (2) or more years of consulting or business experience related to operations, manufacturing, or supply chain.

Salary: Your compensation will be dependent on your experience and qualification.

Status in Canada: you must be able to work in Canada (permanent residence or working permit/VISA)

There will be on-the-job training initially regardless of the position within our company. Our work focus primarily on business strategy, project implementation, and specialized Toyota-style coaching.

Our office is located in south Vancouver near the airport because many of our clients are from international locations and therefore will be flying into Vancouver to come and see us. Many of our corporate programs and events are also held in downtown, typically at Terminal City Club - one of most prestigious business facilities in Vancouver. The remaining programs and events are held in various locations throughout the country. Our office has a full view of the beautiful Vancouver mountains.

Our work is conducted in both English and Japanese. LSI (Lean Sensei International) has one of the deepest experiences in this field.
