What you’ll be doing:
Crafting delicious nigiri, sashimi, and rolls that look as good as they taste
Keeping your station sharp, clean, and cool under pressure
Collaborating with a fun, fast-paced kitchen team
Wowing guests with beautiful plates and even better bites.
As a member of Shoku's team of Sushi Chefs, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of the Sushi menu as well as other popular Izakaya dishes from Japan and other parts of Asia in a dynamic kitchen setting. You will have the opportunity to work with skilled Japanese and international chefs while expanding your cooking repertoire. Minimum 3 years of comprehensive experience in either a Japanese or Asian restaurant serving a Sushi menu. Sound Asian food knowledge / preparation / plating experience / Sushi proficiency are important assets. You must be a team player, punctual, clean, organized and efficient.
