Bed and Breakfast Live in Keeper/Housekeeping
(Vancouver, BC)
Seeking a friendly and outgoing individual with excellent people skills to provide a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Our guests range from hospital stays, international guests from all parts of the world such as Japan, Germany, Netherlands, etc., and returning guests. Must have the ability to problem solve when working independently as well as be a positive team player when in a group setting.
Positions:
• Part-time Live in Keeper (Must be able to work a minimum of 8 months contract):
Typical Shifts are 7 hours: 7:45am-2:45pm
(Days & times may vary due to seasonally)
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Live-in Duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Responding to messages in a timely manner (various parts of the day)
• Booking guests on computerized reservation system (training will be provided)
• Checking guests in and out
• Providing excellent customer service
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Preparing and serving light breakfast
• Daily housekeeping (ensuring it is well maintained, and properly stocked)
• Maintaining the property (Snow removal, cleaning foyer and entrance stairs)
• Addressing guest request during evening hours (ie. Extra pillows/blankets/messages)
