Conference/Event Planner; Full time position
Lean Sensei is an international business consulting company which is experiencing rapid growth due to high demand world-wide.
Already considered the most experienced and respected consulting company in Canada in the field of Japanese management technique and Toyota business system, Lean Sensei specializes in teaching Japanese business technique and Toyota processes to companies in Canada, the US, Japan, and other countries. We provide consulting and training at numerous locations throughout the world, including Vancouver, San Francisco, Florida, New York/New Jersey, Calgary/Edmonton, Japan, and others. We have a strong relationship with Toyota from Japan and focus on providing Toyota-style training.
We work with both local companies and international Fortune 500 companies, including such companies as Johnson & Johnson, United Airlines, Weyerhaeuser Inc, Hitachi, and many others.
We are looking for one more staff person as follows:

Position: Conference/Event Planner; Full time position
Requirements: Bilingual (Japanese and English); must be able to speak, write and read in both English and Japanese
Education: College or University degree
Experience: Three (3) or more years of business experience, including experience managing or organizing events, conferences, seminars, and programs
Salary: Your compensation will be dependent on your experience and qualification, but salary ranges in the mid $30,000 range per annum.
Status in Canada: you must be able to work in Canada (permanent residence)

There will be on-the-job training initially regardless of the position within our company. Our work focus primarily on business strategy, project implementation, and specialized Toyota-style coaching.
Our office is located in south Vancouver near the airport because many of our clients are from international locations and therefore will be flying into Vancouver to come and see us. Many of our corporate programs and events are also held in downtown, typically at Terminal City Club - one of most prestigious business facilities in Vancouver. The remaining programs and events are held in various locations throughout the country.
Our work is conducted in both English and Japanese.
