SAKU Broadway, Japanese pork cutlet restaurant, is currently looking for a professional full-time line cook to join our team.
Job Description
-Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
-Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and handling delivery orders from suppliers)
-Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of kitchen staff
-Clean up and maintain the cleanliness of kitchen area
-Stock inventory appropriately
-Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely manner
-Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
-Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
-Follow kitchen policies, procedures and standards
-Handling customer inquiries regarding food suggestions, dietary restrictions, and allergies.
Qualification
-at least 1 year experience in kitchen
-able to use basic computer skill specifically google spreadsheets or excel
-basic knife skills
-having a valid work permit for more than 6 months
Availability
-Five shifts per week
-Available on weekends and holidays
-Available from 9am to 10pm
Pay
-Starting at $17.40/hour +Tip
