We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Chef / Kitchen Helper (BBQ, Sushi, Bakery or Beverages)

Meiga is a new grocery store that found its niche through cultural celebration of food. What we're looking for in our employees:

· Minimum 1-year commercial food service experience in BBQ, Sushi, Bakery or Beverages

· Food Safety Level 1 (current) with Fraser Health or Coastal Health

· Clear communication skills in English, with proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus

· Proficiency in a second language is advantageous

· Impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to details, and organized.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities.

· Highly motivated and work well with minimal supervision.

· Strong customer service skills.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player.

· Work on your feet up to 8 hours a day.

· Valid work authorization (i.e., work permit, student permit, PR) in Canada

Salary: Starting at $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, negotiable depending on relevant experience

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week

Shift:4 hour / 8 hour shift

Work Setting: Port Moody, BC V3H 4H2 (required)
