ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Host is responsible for creating a positive first impression for the customers by sincerely welcoming all restaurant guest, maintaining excellent customer relations, ensuring table availability, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant appearance.

Functions:

Greets and seats customers at a clean and properly set table with a minimum delay;
Maintain Waiting and Reservation Lists and coordinates seating.
Present the drink list and menu to the guests and describe any feature items.
Receive telephone calls in a timely manner and handle all inquiries appropriately.
Maintain the host station by keeping it clean and organized with accurate records as required.
Ensure table availability through communication with the servers and bussers.
Assist in the clearing and resetting of tables to maximize table availability.
Ensure adequate stock of napkins, glassware, cutlery, and china are at the service stations.
All other duties as assigned.

Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

Prior food and beverage service would be an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple guests at once.
Strong interpersonal and team work skills.
Exemplary customer service skills.
SCHEDULE: Weekends only and Day time hostess usuall from 9am to 3pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

Salary: $16.75-$17.00 per hour
