It costs 1.65$ to send a lettermail to Japan if it is under 30g. I went to the post office today to send a letter to Japan. I expected to pay 1.65$+Tax. However I was charged 3.90$+Tax because my letter hight was over the standard....
That sucks. So I wasted 2.25$...:(
There were two coins piled up in my envelop, I could just put them lined up in the envelope and I could have saved 2.25$.
Even if it is a small amount of money, I do not like wasting my money in Montreal...
If you think 2.25$ as 22.50$, you will consider more if you wanna waste 2.25$ now...
In developing countries, 2.25$ covers many things..... Next time, when somebody charge more than my budged (what I expect), I should withdraw!!
I can say, "This is more than I expected, and I do not have moeny with me right now, so I will go to the bank and come back". This methodology should work.
I was born in a monetary economy system and my mind is set by the system. I need to develop more methodologies to get out of the context of the monetary economy system.
