自宅のwifiルーターにUSBでHDDを付けて使用しようとしましたが、
ルーター側のUSBがinactiveでした...
インターネットのプランを上げても、レンタルのルーターはUSBがinactiveです。

すぐに必要というわけではないのですが、
ゆくゆく家族みんなでHDDにアクセスできるように設定したいと思っています。
そのため、wifiルーターの購入を考えています。

おすすめのwifiルーターはありませんか？
現在は1BRのアパートに住んでいて、ルーターはcisco DPC3825です。

TelusなどのTVレシーバー場合USBポートは使えない様になっています。でもレシーバーそのものにHDD付いているのでガンガン録画出来るから外付けしなくてもいいと思うけど。
wifi機ならパソコンでHDD繋げるし。
wifiルーターに直付する用途は何？

家にパソコン2台、タブレット、携帯2台あります。その色んなものも保存先をひとつのHDDにと考えています。
簡易NASというものを設定してみたいと思ったのです。

うちはテレビの契約はなくてインターネットだけです。テレビも辛うじて薄型の普通のテレビです。

その程度ならパソコンのUSBに携帯類とHDDつけてDLしたらいいのでは？
HDDも今はBluetoothでケーブル要らない、PCも要らないのも沢山出てます。

I realized this problem after I open the box... I can't return any more ;-(

So option No. 2 is for me. I am looking for reasonable but good rooter with USB now.
