My name is Charles, I am a Chinese Canadian with a passion for helping students learn English.　

I enjoy encouraging students and watching them becoming more confident and fluent at speaking English. I specialize in teaching intermediate to advanced students, and can also teach more formal, business English for finding and succeeding at work. I not only teach vocabulary, grammar, idioms, and pronunciation, but also teach practical techniques for everyday situations like having a conversation with a native speaker. I enjoy learning new things, meeting new people and hearing about new places. I think everyone I meet has at least one interesting story to tell, and I look forward to hearing yours!
