Hi everyone!
Don’t you think that this would be a great opportunity for language exchange? We can make new friends, share our culture and learn so much together. Maybe you can almost picture your English becoming better and better with every word we share. What would it feel like if you could speak English as well as a native speaker, can you imagine that? You could communicate and share your thoughts and feelings so easily and naturally and feel so proud of yourself for taking this first step towards that. How excited will you feel if you could look back on today as being the start of that? Do you think all of your good friends will be jealous of your new English skills? Ha ha ;)
My name is Ian. I live in Vancouver close to downtown. I am a 26 years old university student in the bachelor of education program at UBC. I’m training to be a teacher. It’s really fun program I think.
These days I am kind of busy with school. But when I have time I enjoy exercising and learning Japanese. I also really enjoy going to English Bay (when it is not raining ha ha). It is so pretty there. I enjoy such things as dancing (especially salsa!), martial arts, working out and spending time with friends. In general I’m pretty silly and easy-going, very easy to get along with!
Nihongo wa watashi ni chotto muzukashii desu. Konogoro tapuu to bangumi kara nihongo o naraite iru. Mae ni ninenkan daigakude nihongo o benkyou shita. Demo motto jyousu ni naritai ne. Konogoro nihon no tomodachi wa nihon e kaerimashita. I started studying Japanese because I needed 12 credits of one language to get my degree, and Japanese fit the best in my schedule and so I took it. It is maybe not best reason haha. But I do enjoy learning language so I have kept learning by myself ^^
I think that’s about it. If you can picture me as someone you can really enjoy sharing with, please write me an e-mail. Age and sex does not matter. I’m waiting!
(sorry for sending again, but I forgot to include my e-mail the first time ><)
