we usually say "did you have fun?"

これは一般の答えですね。

例文ロ：

Ｈａｎａｋｏ: Hi Bill. I went on a picnic with some friends the other day?

Bill: Oh, really? Did you have fun?


Maybe Bovine Hat or some of the other grammarians can explain the point better than I, but those are pretty standard examples of normal usage.

ところで、やっと思い出したのでその違いの追伸だけど：

Did you like it? OR Did you enjoy it? は文法的に目的語（？？）がつくから、a transitive verb constructionです.

Did you have fun? は目的語がつかないので、an intransitive verb constructionです.


So, if you want to emphasise the "it" part (a movie, a picnic), you use a transitive construction (Did you like it?).

If you want to emphasise the atmosphere, or the enjoyment of the event, etc., you use the intransitive "Did you have fun?"

a little clarification.

Transitive(目的語をとる)and intransitive(目的語を取らない)verbs
only applies to verbs, and not to the construction of
the clause.

In the sentence, "Did you have fun?" the verb is have, so
it’s still intransitive because you can’t say, "Did you
have?" You have to follow it with an object.

With intransitive verbs like "run" or "write," yo can end
a sentence with them, like "He runs." or "She writes."
Many non-English speakers say "Do you like?" (even some
native English speakers too these days), but since like is
intransitive it has to be followed by an object like "it."
