Hello name is Derek, I am a Canadian Chinese guy who is finding it hard to make good long-term Japanese friends in Vancouver. I lived and worked in Kumamoto City for 1 year. I taught English to kids. I believe that the key to having a good long-term friend is to spend time together. I have met some Japanese people in Vancouver but most of them say they are too busy to hang out on a regular basis. I hope they don’t go back to Japan without any good Canadian friends. We can simply start our friendship by simply having coffee and talking
