My name is Derek and I am finding it hard to make Japanese friends. I am a Canadian Chinese guy born in Canada in a city called New Westminster. I worked in Kumamoto City for 1 year teaching English to Japanese children. I have been to many cities in Japan including Naha, Hiroshima, Tokyo, Takamatsu, Sapparro, Nagasaki, Gifu, Nagoya and Osaka. I have also traveled all over Kyushu. I hope that we can go to movies, hockey games or restaurants(Canadian or ethnic) or any other ideas that you have.
