「もっと長い物」や「もっと大きい物」って
なんて言うんですか？

I have 《longer》 one. or I have 《more long》 one.
I have 《bigger》 one. or I have 《more big》 one.

２つの物を比較する時は
This is longer than that one.のように《longer》などを
使いますよね？２つを比較して言うんじゃなくて、
「もっと○○な」ってどう言うふうに言えばいんですか？

erをつけるのは、単語が短い時。
moreをつけるのは、単語が長い時。
こう覚えておくと簡単だよ。
後、いいにくければmoreをつけてみるとかねｗ
easy→er
important→これがimportanterだったらいい辛いでしょ？だから、more
difficult→これも、difficulterだったらいい辛い。
　

res 4 is basically right in the general sense
when the word involves 2 or less syllables, you use the suffix "er"
when the word involves 3 or more syllables, you use more instead

however! there are exceptions: for example, the comparative form of "fun" is not "funner", but "more fun", so do watch out
