Stop Posting for L.E. losers!
by 無回答 from 無回答 2007/08/26 11:20:21

Sorry, I have to post this because I am tired of all the Canadian losers that post on jpcanada (not everyone however).

So, if you fit into one of these categories...get lost!

1.) Some 35 year old loser that can’t get a Canadian girl so is trying to find some young Japanese exchange student that won’t realize you are a complete nob!

2.) Some Chinese or Korean guy that watches too much Japanese AV and has some fetish about Japanese girls

3.) Some loser Canadian guy that thinks all Japanese girls are sluts and therefore thinks he is god’s gift to women

4.) Some anime nerd that wants a Japanese girlfriend that looks like Sailor Moon

5.) All the rest of the nerds/losers I forgot

However, if you are seriously studying Japanese, a Japanese major and/or have lived in Japan good luck with your studies! Learning Japanese is not easy.

However, the rest of you nobs get lost! You are the reason why so many Japanese people think Canadians/foreigners are sleaze-balls!

頑張って書いたのはいいが、なんかお前の英語ムカつくっていうか、
うざい。that,howeverとか同じ単語使いすぎ。習ったばっか? まあ習ったのを使うのはいいけど、やりすぎ。

I agree with Res.1 that the poster uses "however" way too often - however (sorry, I couldn’t resist), other than that I’d say it was fairly well-written and well above the median level of writing that I’ve encountered on JP.

By the way, I’m Canadian - I’m billingual so I’m not looking for any language exchange partners, but if there are any interested young Japanese exchange students out there that look like Sailor Moon then by all means drop me a line ;)

Judging by your user name I can tell I hit a nerve. Hahahaha!

Res.3 >By the way, I’m Canadian - I’m billingual so I’m not looking for any language exchange partners, ...

Are you really "I’m Canadian - I’m billingual.. "?
Don’t fool me, your comment is typical Japanese English, not native English though.
Res.7 by 無回答 from 無回答 2007/09/01 23:00:49

私はトピ主の意見には一理あると思います。
Language exchangeがすべて悪いと言っているのではなく、
中には下心を持って近付く輩がいるので、気を付けてという意味だと思います。
無垢な(or gullible)日本人女性に警鐘を鳴らしているのではないのでしょうか。
Res.8 by Sammy from バンクーバー 2007/09/03 14:19:20

Uhhh There’s nothing wrong with his English...So what if his favorite word is ’however’? who the f*ck cares? Take me for example, When I’m talking to my buddies I’m always adding the word ’you know’ at the end of each sentence and none of my buddies ever made fun of me for doing it. It’s not a big deal. Not everybody has to talk a certain way.

I actually agree with this guy...I’m and American dude and I don’t come here hoping to hook up with a Japanese chick. I’m not even that interested in Asian girls. (No offence. Everybody’s got their own preference, right?)I come here to READ Japanese so I won’t forget the language that I used to speak as a kid. Not anymore though.
Res.9 by Sammy from バンクーバー 2007/09/03 14:26:22

Res.6 :

...I believe the dude is Canadian. His English is perfectly fine. Can I ask y’all a question? Why do so many Japanese-english speakers feel the need to compete with other Japanese-english speakers? I don’t get it. There’s so much competition going on. You should try to become more humble.

*I’m an American dude

sorry.
Res.11 by Brad from バンクーバー 2007/09/03 14:57:06

I knew I’d find you here Sam haha
Sam’s right. I kind of noticed that too..
Why do you guys compete with eachother so much?
It shoudn’t matter who speaks the "best english".
Language Learning should be fun. Don’t turn it into a competition.
Res.12 by Sammy from バンクーバー 2007/09/03 15:09:52

Hey man what’s up? yea that’s what I’m saying, It’s ridiculous.
Things like that shouldn’t f*cking matter. They should learn to respect others and maybe instead of competeting with eachother, start helping eachother out. I can’t stand the hate. It’s like everytime I come here some one if making fun of someone elses English and to be honest, I’m getting sick of it. I don’t mean to sound like a jerk but for those of you who are doing that, GET A LIFE MAN! Even though I’m half Irish, I can’t speak Irish. You gonna make fun of me? cmon man. It shoudn’t f*cking matter to you.

Res 3 spelled Bilingual wrong though...
hahaha
I’m surprised no one pointed that out..
in any case,
in Japanese culture the Competition is always there. So I’m not surprised seeing everyone trying to trash others to boost their ego..

Res.17 by Sammy from バンクーバー 2007/09/20 13:35:21

Res.13:

Yeah well I know a bunch of Canadians who can’t spell. I didn’t point it out because I’m not in f*cking kindergarden.

>in Japanese culture the Competition is always there. So I’m not surprised seeing everyone trying to trash others to boost their ego..

I know, I’m just saying it’s stupid.

Yeah, some Canadians can read Japanese. I read jpcanada so I can learn new kanjii. I also see lots of strange posts by boh Canadians and Japanese. Don’t think Canadians can’t understand. Japanese is not that hard to learn if you practice it enough.
Res.21 by HungryDad from 無回答 2007/09/21 17:51:18

I’m very glad that there’re some Canadians (and Americans,
or any other nationality, for that matter) using this site.
They probably have more objective views on things and
events related to Japan. Such views are also important
assets to this site, as I noticed that many Japanese here
tend to be very defensive when it comes to subjects on
Japan and other countries. This is an open site and people
are free to agree and disagree.

My Japanese Teacher in University was white. (UBC)
I’ll bet you anything she knows more Kanji than you do.
There are many non-Japanese that are capable of reading and speaking Japanese.
My point, Only because they respond in English, does not mean they do not understand what you are writing.

Canadians have just as much right to be here as Japanese people. Do you think jpcanada should just be for Japanese people?
