Please forgive me for my absent next couple days because My mother was passed away.
I won’t go back to Japan to attend her funeral althought I do not think I will able to be ther on time but I need a time to accpet her death.

My mother has passed away and for this reason I will be absent from school. I will not be able to make it to her funeral so I will not be returning to Japan. However, I need time to become emotionally stable so I will be missing a couple of days.

May I take a short break? Because my mother passed away a few days ago and I don’t feel like going to school for a while.
