"For example, the Romantic poets believed that art was the search for the sublime, a term for them that meant an ultimate expression of beauty and truth."
This is from an article.
My question is about the second comma(,).
I’m wondering that there are no conjunction words before the 2nd comma. Is it because the sentence followed by the 2nd comma explains the word(sublime)?
Doesn’t this sentence need any words like "that" or "which" before the 2nd comma? If not, why is it?

Yes, in propper grammar there should be a "THAT is" or "Which is" after the (2nd ,) but in this article the (,) is followed by the description of what the word "SUBLIME" meant to the Romantic poets, therefore, it is just followed by "a term for THEM"
Eg: I think that being a new mother is exhausting,a term for me that means I will never sleep 8 hours a night again.
This doesn’t mean that the word "exhausting" means the same thing to all mothers so that is why in this context it is not followed by "that or which"
Does that make any sense?
