Hello! My name is Kevin and I am a professional English tutor specializing in IELTS training. I have been teaching English for over 10 years and IELTS for over two. I have a degree in Linguistics and French from UBC and I have a TESOL/TEFL certificate.

My Mission:
- Make IELTS something fun to study and help you obtain the IELTS score you need to succeed.

- Complete IELTS practise tests together and prepare lessons to help improve your scores.
My Method:
- Give accurate feedback on each of the four skills, write specialized notes every session, and develop your unique learning plan.

Who am I?
I am an English teacher who has lived and worked abroad in South Korea. Importantly, I understand how challenging it can be living in another country, speaking a different language, and adapting to a new culture. I experienced my own struggles living abroad and learning Korean and this makes me a truly empathetic teacher.

I offer both packaged deals as well as hourly classes:

Basic Hourly 35.00/ hour *minimum 2-hour sessions*
- Recommended for students who just need some advice or touching up.
- Recommended for students planning on 8 sessions or fewer
I offer:
- Basic Materials
- Session notes
- Cover any of the 4 skills
- Recorded Speaking tests

20-hour package 598.50 *1 free hour*
- Recommended if IELTS exam is more than 1 – 1 1.5 months from session start date.
- Based on 2 two-hour sessions per week for 5 weeks
- Equivalent to 31.50/hr
I offer:
- 5 hours/ skill or student’s choice
- All material provided
- Up to 3 writing examples from Kevin
- Full study plan
- Pre-test practise session
- Pay up-front in full
- *Sometimes Kevin will buy the coffee!
