I am a friendly Canadian native English speaker from Vancouver who has lived in Kumamoto City near Kumadai and Kokai Shoten where I bought my groceries.

While I was there, I taught English culture and language to Kumamoto children 3 -15 years old in an English school and to my adult and elderly Japanese neighbours.

I even met Kumamon a few times in my quiet neighbourhood. He is also quiet because he doesn't talk, but inside I know he is happy and smiling.

Let's do a conversation exchange. I can help you improve your English conversation and pronunciation skills and you can help me improve my Nihongo speaking skills.

I think my Japanese speaking level is conversational.

We can have fun and relax talking about many interesting topics like travel, movies, shopping, pets, cats and dogs, piano, ukelele, nature, science, art, museums, cooking and baking, music, protecting the environment or any topic you want.

We can do the conversation exchange once or twice each week.
