I am looking to learn some basic Japanese skills.
I will teach you English language - general reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in exchange for some basic Japanese skills for free.
I am a Canadian citizen and a post-graduate scholar from a North American University.
English is my first language.

You might be a post-grad scholar from a North American university, but your English isn't native or at an equivalent level.

You see, "I will teach you English language" is ungrammatical.

What you want is one of these two: "I will teach you English" or "I will teach you the English language".

A native or native-level speaker of English will never leave out a required "a", "an" or "the", or insert these when they are not necessary.
