My name is Jonathon Jones, just call me JJ. I'm an experienced and certified ESL instructor. I'm also a tutor for IELTS and the CELPIP test, and I'm an IELTS examiner. If you need to take a test to stay in Canada or go to university here, I can help you prepare.

I understand Japanese language and culture very well. I used to live in Sendai-shi, Miyagi-ken for 7 years. I can help anyone with English. I also tutor for General and Conversational English. I like to use TV shows like American drama and comedy to study with and I make my own worksheets. It's fun, everyday English and helps with vocab, speaking and listening.

I charge $25 per hour for all meetings. I don't meet at coffee shops, I use the downtown Vancouver public library. They have comfortable meeting rooms that are free to use everyday.
