Semi-Private Intensive Grammar Course starts Monday May 1st ~Female Teacher
by Kameyo Melina from Vancouver 2017/04/17 14:54:46

Present Simple ESL is pleased to introduce a semi-private, six-week, intensive grammar course with a maximum of only four students per class. Classes start Monday May 1st.

This class is perfect for students who feel lost in the large classes at language schools, but don't want to pay the high price of private tutoring.

· Placement testing will help determine your level and familiarize you with the format of the testing. This test will take place at the time of enrolment, before the course begins.

· We will have a free interview/information session to discuss the course, answer your questions, look at the textbook, and to see if we are a good fit for each other.

· There are no enrolment fees.

· Classes take place three times a week at the Mount Pleasant Library at 1 Kingsway. Classes are two hours each plus a 15-minute break, and you will have two to three hours of homework after each class. Classes will be Monday 12:30-2:45, Wednesday 10:00-12:15, Friday 10:00-12:15. (This may be flexible depending on who signs up and what our schedules are. I am flexible with the times)

The textbook I use is Grammar Sense Series, by Oxford University Press. "[It] is an easy to use and comprehensive discourse-based grammar series that gives students a true understanding of the English language and how it works. Grammar Sense enables students to communicate with ease and clarity as they develop a natural sense of how, when, and why English speakers use grammatical structures as they do." ~Oxford University Press

Please contact us at Present Simple ESL for a free interview and information session and to secure your seat.
