GovernmentからCERBに関して
“You were paid more benefits than the amount for which you were eligible. なので$2000返金して下さい”
という内容のメールが届きました。
多く貰いすぎた覚えがないのですが、どなたかdisputeされた方いらっしゃいますか？

一番初めにCERBを申請した時に、$2000もらいませんでしたか？
加えて、働けなかった期間だけ週に＄500づつもらっていたら、初めの$2000は返金する必要があるようです。
ググると、似たような例が出てきました。

本当ですか？政府のサイトに出ていますか？どこでしょう？

トピ主さん、まだ調べるまで支払わないのが無難だと思います。

チェックしてみました。政府が送っている通知は、ただ単に本当にもらう立場にいたのか、ということだけですよ。トピ主さん、何かの読み違いではありませんか？もしよければスクショをここに貼ってください。（もちろん名前などはスクショから除外してください）

トピ主さんはCRAからメールが届いたそうですが、届いたメールに直接要件が書いてあったのなら詐欺だと思います。
CRAのマイアカウントにログインして、そこで通知を見たのなら本物だと思いますが。。。

In spring 2020, you received an initial CERB payment of $2,000. This was an advance payment of four weeks to get money to you as quickly as possible.

The maximum amount you should have received is $500 per week during the full period you were eligible for the CERB. According to information we have on file, including your reporting information, you were paid more benefits than the amount for which you were eligible. You will soon receive a Notice of Debt by mail detailing what you owe and providing instructions on how to make payment arrangements, if necessary.

私も今朝トピ主さんと全く同じメールがcraから届きました...

アカウンタントに確認してもらいましたが、メールは正式でlegitだそうです。ドメインも正式なものでした。

そこには

最初の$2000はそもそも4週間分で、最大は週に$500です。貴方の履歴とレポートを照らし合わせると超過して支払われていたので返金催促の手紙を送ります。
到着後30日以内に支払ってください

と書いてありました。

私だけかな？と思いましたが、同じやつが届いてますし、詐欺ではなさそうですね...

30日以内支払いではなく、異議があればでしたね。
支払いの期限は特になさそうですね...
いきなり$2000一括、今更感ありますし、全く同じ環境の同僚にも連絡がきたかどうか聞いてみます。

Tax リターンも2020年分訂正か今年分で調整か..どうなるんでしょう
