"As a temporary or permanent resident, it’s a good idea to write down your trips outside Canada by air, land or boat, including day trips to the United States. You’ll need this information when you apply for a new Permanent Residence card and when you apply for citizenship."
Absences will be calculated only for days where an applicant spent no time at all in Canada. Dates where an applicant left Canada, or returned to Canada will not be counted as an absence since the applicant was physically present in Canada for a portion of both days.
Your Travel History: You must list all your absences from Canada in the last five (5) years, or since becoming a permanent resident if less than five (5) years ago.
つまり、記入しなければならないのは、all your "absences" です。
そして、この absence の定義は、Res13によれば "only for days where an applicant spent no time at all in Canada(1日のうち完全にカナダに存在しなかった日)のことで、さらに" Dates where an applicant left Canada, or returned to Canada will not be counted as an absence "(出国日と帰国日は absence とはカウントしない)となっているので、日帰りは absence ではないのでリストアップする必要はないことになりますね。
If you are renewing or applying for a Permanent Resident Card you do not need to request your Traveller History Report from the CBSA. Checking "Yes" on page 3, Question 23 (section E) of the application form allows IRCC to collect the report on your behalf.
