れす12さん、それは保険料の計算ではなく、一軒家のReplacement Value あるいはReplacement Costを計算するために必要な情報です。Replacement Valueを計算するためには細かい家の情報が必要です。
Replacement Value
The replacement value of your home is the price to rebuild your house (with materials of like kind and quality) after a serious loss, like a fire. It is NOT the amount you would get if you sold your house (i.e. the market value or MPAC) and does not include the value of the land where your house is located.
The best way to accurately compare home insurance quotes is to use the replacement value on your current home policy.
If your current home insurance policy is unavailable, the average replacement value for most urban Canadian centres is about $160 per square foot. Then, when you speak to the agent or or broker, they will make sure this value reflects your home's true replacement value using the tools and statistics they have available.
