RECORD OF LANDINGという紙は残していますがそれにはIMM 1000となっています。同じものの事を言っているのでしょうか。
前回PR Cardの更新した際の資料を見てみましたがそれには
A Copy of your Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292)
となっているので移民権を取得した時期によってはIMM 5292を持っていない人もいると思います。その場合IMM 1000を持っているんではないでしょうか。
your Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Confirmation of Permanent Residence (IMM 5292)
or
copy of your valid provincial driver’s licence, provincial photo-identity card or university or college student card
or
copy of your most recent Income Tax Assessment issued by Canada Revenue Agency.
If you were processed in Canada you never got an IMM 5292 otherwise it is the visa in your passport, if you landed after Jun/2002 if landed prior to Jun/02 you have IMM 1000.
If you were not born in Canada or if you have not lived continuously in Canada since age 18, you must submit proof of legal status in Canada such as citizenship or immigration papers. Also, you must submit a statement of all the dates you arrived in Canada and departed Canada from age 18 to present. You may be asked to provide documents to substantiate this.
We check the information we have for you in the Social Insurance Register. If your name or date of birth does not match these records, we will ask you to send us your birth certificate.
