今仕事をしているのですが　お腹が大きくなるにつれだんだん辛くなると思い、いつ仕事をやめようかと思っています。今の仕事のベネフィットはありません。が、7ヶ月経つ前に（現在5ヶ月です）Maternity Leaveは可能でしょうか？　又、ちょうどさかのぼって、１年で復帰すればいいのでしょうか？ もし　知っている人がいたら教えて下さい。宜しくお願いします。

たしかEIのwebsiteに詳しく出ていたような。
出産前はsick leave扱いになって、出産から maternity leave申請だと思います。
その合計で５２週とか、そう言う感じでした。

もちろん会社のSick leaveの規定も聞いたほうがいいですよね。

　

会社のベネフィットの産休がないのならEI基準ですよね。
だとすると予定日より１ヶ月以上前の場合は医者からのNoteが必要だったと思います。

もし産休前にSick Leave(Short Term Disability　Leave)をとる場合は産休の合計週とは関係ありません。
その際も医者からNoteが必要になりますが理由に「妊娠しているから」ではなく「立ち仕事で妊娠に支障をきたすかもしれないから」等ちょっと詳しく書かないといけないようです。

詳しいことはEIに直接出向いて相談するとわかりやすく説明してくれます。
きっとホームページにも詳しく説明されていると思いますが。 　

Service Canadaのページに詳しく載っていますが、３２週からMaternity Leave、その前だと医師が必要だと判断した場合Sick Leaveの申請ができます。もしウェブサイトを読んでも良くわからなかったら、電話をすると丁寧に教えてくれますよ。

自分が早めに産休を申請しようと思ったときに一ヶ月って言われたと思っていたんですが勘違いだったのか、もう結構前なので変更があったのかもしれないですね。
