I read your posting with great interest. I also recently moved to Vancouver with my boyfriend and I’m looking to make some new friends. I lived in Wakayama, near Osaka for 14 years and ran a company there with a Japanese business partner for 10 years. I moved to Singapore to take my master’s degree and now I’m looking for work in Vancouver. I would love to make some Japanese friends and get involved in the Japanese community here.
How would you feel about me taking part in your English conversation group? I have teaching experience in Japan and also worked as an assistant English teacher in public elementary, junior and senior schools.
Hope to hear from you!
Regards
Dan Shepherd

It was nice somebody who could teach us English noticed this Topic.
