Isn’t it way more expensive to send than buying there?
Your husband’s friend is just a cheep bustard?(excuse my language) Especially, it’s not like you or your husband have caught a salmon or anything that make the salmon special.
But there’s so many Chinese people live out here. there should be some place would do it. Maybe you can start with asking at a seafood section in T&T.
Cam-san Thank you for the compliment!
Maybe you can tell your husband that you were told that the custom won’t let export fish or something.
you could say "I was told at seafood place in T&T that the Canadian custom wouldn’t let anybody export salmon without a license. He said he knew somebody who tried and couldn’t do it"
Uso mo Ho-ben desuyo!
and you also can say "Besides, you would have to use either Canadien or Chinese company to do it and can you trust them??
I think the salmon will be rotten by the time it arrives China!"
or maybe you can send some Smoked salmon in can or package to China. then it doesn’t have to be a Cool-bin. I have no idea about tax at customs, though...
