No.35568	【PRCardの期限切れ】アメリカ旅行 by 無回答 from 無回答　2019/08/12 11:53:01 PR Cardの更新が切れてしまいました。近々バンクーバーよりアメリカ(Bellingham)に陸路経由で往復する予定です。アメリカでの入出国では、PR Holderでも、在籍国のパスポート(私の場合は日本のパスポート)を確認すると聞きました。ゆえに、PR Cardの有効期限が切れていても往復できると聞いたのですが、本当でしょうか!? ご存知の方、アドバイスよろしくお願いいたします。「ポイント」・PR Holder ・PR Cardは有効期限切れ・陸路経由でのUS日帰り旅行・Vancouver - Bellingham

	Res.3	by Tomoko from バンクーバー　2019/08/12 13:40:35 去年10月に、私はPRカード切れている時に仕事でアメリカに行かないと行けなかったので、行きはYVRから行って、帰りはBellinghamに飛んでそこからレンタカーして帰ってきました。Canada Border Services Agencyに電話で事前に確認したところ、陸路でprivate vehicleでボーダーを渡ってカナダに戻ってくる場合はPRカードなしでも大丈夫と言われたので。https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/menu-eng.html 念のため再確認されることをおすすめします。シャトルバスなどのCommercial vehicleの場合PRカードがないと乗せてもらえません。

	Res.4	by 無回答 from 無回答　2019/08/12 15:52:52 私も以前、PRカードが切れる日にベリンハムから戻って来たことありますが、車でカナダに戻ってくる時に、ボーダーの審査官に怒られました。入国拒否されても文句はいえない！と言われましたね。とりあえず、バンクーバーに戻って来られましたが、それ以降はPRカードをきちんと更新するようにしています。

	Res.5	by 無回答 from 無回答　2019/08/12 15:58:53 私は自家用車でアメリカからカナダに戻る時、感じの悪いオフィサー当たってしまい、日本のパスポートとPRカードを両方提出した時”This passport is not good. I don't need this”と投げ返されて、PRカードだけチェックされてカナダへ入国しました。 PRカードの期限とか、どこまでしっかりとチェックしていたかは不明ですが、入国審査官のよって色々違うこともあります。私のアメリカ人の友人でカナダにPRで住んでいる子は「どうしてカナダの市民権を取らないんだ！？僕は君のカナダへの入国をここで拒否することもできる。」と嫌味を言われたことがあります。

	Res.6	by m from 無回答　2019/08/12 21:03:51 車でアメリカ入国の際にはPRカードはみせたことが無いですが、カナダに帰ってくる際には必ずPRカード提示が必要ですよ。日帰りでもカナダを出国するとPRカード必要だと思いますが。。。。

	Res.9	by 無回答 from 無回答　2019/08/16 18:21:17 こりゃあ、緊急でPRの代わりになるものを発行してもらう手立てを探すほうが早いとおもうよ。大使館に連絡するより。。。。変なオフィサーにあたったら、面倒だよ。同行者がいたら特に迷惑かかるよ。

	Res.10	by 無回答 from 無回答　2019/08/17 05:07:44 PRの有効期限が切れてるのにカナダ国外を出よう考えてること自体何を考えてるのやら。しかも緊急事態で何か重大な事情があるわけでもなく、単なる旅行。それで帰ってくるときにどうにかなりませんか、とここで質問している。自己管理能力ない、まともじゃないね。

You need a valid permanent resident (PR) card to return to Canada by plane, train, bus or boat. If you know your card will expire when you’re travelling, renew it before you leave. You can only renew your card in Canada. We don’t send PR cards to non-Canadian addresses and we don’t allow third parties to get them for you. If you’re outside Canada and don’t have a valid PR card, you need a permanent resident travel document (PRTD) to return to Canada. You can only apply for a PRTD from outside Canada. If you try to return to Canada without a PR card or PRTD, you may not be able to take your flight, train, bus or boat to Canada. If your card expires when you’re outside Canada, you still have your permanent resident (PR) status. To keep your PR status, you need to stay in Canada for a certain amount of time. 	Res.12	by 無回答 from 無回答　2019/08/17 17:58:20 現在PR更新中なら書類で代用できると思うけど、 PR更新してないのに書類になるものはないのでは？アメリカに行くまでに更新の書類をUrgentで送って、ドキュメント貰う時間ないですよね？私だったらアメリカに行きません。
