They (William and Natsumi) were not dating and had no relationship beyond at best, a casual acquaintance. There was no communication between themselves by way of email or Facebook despite what Schneider states, this was proven by police. They never went hiking and were not making plans for a camping trip. She never took drugs yet ended up with a sedative in her system that Schneider had an active prescription for. She had a pending appointment for a potential job on Sept. 8th 2016, there is no way she is going to be popping random pills while hanging out with a homeless, unemployed drug user. Schneider often hung around downtown including places were Nat studied. She was focused and studied even after her classes were completed and she graduated. Her extended friendship and respect was abused by William and she was taken advantage of. She was drugged and a sexual assault ensued. She fought back and was murdered. William is responsible and the jury agreed. Guilty.

「Proulx said surveillance video from the Catholic Charities Hostel will show William Schneider leaving the hostel on Sept. 8, 2016, the last day Kogawa was seen alive, carrying the tent bag, and will also show him carrying a large suitcase the next two days but returning on the second day without it.」
