Saraさん、
あなたのストリー完璧に英語に翻訳したら、いかがですか? じゃ、はじめよ:
Since this March, for four months I have lived in a rented room downtown.
After making the payment, on the day when I moved into the room, I found lots of mould growing on the bed sheet. It had been left in the same condition as the previous tenant left it! Even though I already paid, for three days I was not able to sleep in that room. After three days of continuously making excuses, the landlord finally hired a cleaner, and the room was clean, at last. But, the bedding and such having been thrown away, I had to provide these necessities myself.
In the middle of July, the temperature suddenly warmed up, and after that I noticed something strange. At first, my arm was spotted with insect bites. Initially, I didn't pay that much attention to it. But when the second day came, it was all over my my face, hands, legs, and by the third day, I was covered with a staggering number of insect bites.
I consulted with someone about this at school, and I was told it was bed bugs. Right away, I decided to move, making home stay arrangements.
That day, I let that landlord know about the bedbugs in the room. But I was told, "I'm returning your deposit, so can you keep this whole thing secret? If someone asks about those bites, say you had an allergic reaction."
I couldn't comprehend or agree with the situation that someone will be ending up in the same situation as I did. Then, a month came and went, and the deposit was not returned, and still as of now has not been.
That first landlord showed up one hour late for agreed-upon meeting times. That happened some four times. Then finally, started to ignore texts and phone calls.
It would be good to consult a lawyer, but I hear retaining a lawyer costs lots of money. I don't know what I should do.
If anyone has been in a similar situation, and knows of a good way to deal with this, please let me know.
Thank you for any help.
