グレーターバンクーバーのあちらこちらにアニマルレスキューの非営利団体があります、ペットとは少し違いますが自然動物を保護して元気になったら自然に戻す活動をしています、哺乳類、鳥など。
バーナビーレークにある、もう一つはラングレー、そのほかにも探せばある。
爬虫類を保護しているところもある。
