I am getting frustrated by the noise of piano that my tenant's daughter makes....
I've lived in their basement for about 2 years and they are really nice people, but I just cannot handle the noise. The piano is right above where my room is.
It is not that she plays the piano too early in the morning or too late at night, but it's just she plays for hours in the evening and weekends and she isn't good and hasn't gotten any better, sadly.
I had learned piano and I know that everyone has to practice to get better, but it just bugs me.
but I shouldn't really complain since she's playing during reasonable hours, or should I?

I suggest that you check your city's bylaws. I don't know where you live in the U.S.
Shouldn't be posting this on the U.S. online bulletin board so you can get better replies?
Sorry, my mistake. It should have been "landlord", not tenant. I am one of a tenant.
I don't think it is against bylaw's because she mainly plays in the evening, but no later than 9pm.
