I hate to say this but who is it that’s not really reading the damn thing. Yeah I get it, I looked at the site, yes it does say "Public Holidays and other important dates at national level". It DOES NOT say statutory holidays. All I wanted to say is, if you live in Ontario you’re not going to get paid stat in Remembrance Day. I’m not talking about national holidays, but statutory holidays. I hope you all know the difference between them cause they are not the same.
According to the site, Easter Monday and Boxing Day are listed as national holidays but they are not STAT at least in BC, are they?
All jurisdictions regarding stat holidays differ in each province. Refer to this site; http://www.workrights.ca/content.php?sec=9 and check out the employment standards in your province if you ever wonder.
And how come some people on this site have to be so aggressive and judgmental towards other uses who only post innocent comments. So lame.
