All PS3 games are region-free, so the answer is: yes, you can use games from any region. However, if your PS3 is backwards-compatible (it plays PS2 and PS1) games, then those games will only work if they’re of the same region as your PS3. For example, I have Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, which I bought from Japan. It doesn’t work on my PS3. People have imported Bayonetta from Japan because it came out earlier than in North America. That game is compatible with any PS3 system. Hope that helps. On another note, I need to brush up on my Japanese and I will help anyone who’d like to work their english. If you’re interested, my PSN ID is mustain21. I play SF4, SSF2HDR, Tekken 6, RE5, MW2, NGS2, and many others, but mostly Capcom fighting games.
