Are you guys talking about that girl who played Aya in One litres of tears? She’s a great actress but probably wouldn’t survive 10 seconds in Hollywood. She stands out because there aren’t many great actors/actresses in Japan. They all look like they’re auditioning for a 2nd grade play. Their acting skills just aren’t all that great.

What don’t you like about her ta-ido? She seems very down to earth to me :) I know that every now and then she tends to intimidate some people with her opinions and actions. But I just see her as this very strong, opinionated woman and there’s nothing wrong with that..:(
