今年の5月末にバンクーバーからクリントンまでグレハンで行ったのですが、そのときISICのインターナショナルスチューデントカードを使って学割で乗りました。今アメリカ旅行を計画していて、ネットでチケットを買おうとしたらスチューデントカードのところでエラーというかこれは適用できないというふうにいわれ、普通の大人料金で買わないといけないようになりました。（まだ買ってませんが）

　それでちょっと不安になり直接グレハンにメールで問い合わせた結果、

I apologize. Greyhound does not honor the International Student Identity
Card. Greyhound does honor the Greyhound Student Advantage Card.

In order to receive a student discount, you need to become a member of
Greyhound’s Student Advantage Club. For information on becoming a member of
the Student Advantage Club, please call 1-800-333-2920 (open 24 hours a day,
7 days a week) or visit the website at www.StudentAdvantage.com.

An U.S. credit card and mailing address are required for online ticket
purchases. International customers can purchase their ticket at any Greyhound
location upon arrival in the U.S. or Canada. For international customers
without toll-free access, please call 214-849-8100 any time between 5:00 a.m.
and 1:00 a.m. Central Time for fare and schedule information.

As much as we would like to fulfill your request, we are unable to accept
non-US issued/billed credit cards for our online ticket purchase program.
The authorization system that we utilize does not allow for the processing
of cards other than those that are US issued/billed. The only other way
would be to have friends or family in the US purchase your tickets and either
hold them until your arrival or mail them to your present location.

Please note that a different authorization system is utilized for in-person
purchases at the bus station. An international credit card may be used
there.

Fares and schedules are date specific and subject to change. Seating is
first-come, first-served. In case of insufficient seating capacity,
passengers will be placed on succeeding schedules that have available seats. Due
to the fact that Greyhound does not accept reservations, please arrive at
the station one hour prior to scheduled departure, depending upon its hours
of operation. If you will be checking baggage, please visit the counter in
advance of the scheduled departure time.

If the location you are leaving from is closed at the time of departure or
you are leaving from a flagstop location, we recommend arriving 30 minutes
prior to departure.

ということでした。そのまま載せてすみません。長いですよね。前使った時はたしかにバンクーバーのグレハンオフィスでしたし、だからかなぁとも思ったのですが、この内容だと、ISIC自体が使えないって書いてるんですよね。グレハンの専用スチューデントカードでしか。でも納得がいかず、アメリカとカナダじゃシステムが違うのかなぁと思ったり。（問い合わせたのはグレハンアメリカの方です）ただ私の友達はグレハンのディスカバリーパスをスチューデントカードを使って買ってたし（アメリカで去年の12月ぐらい）。どういうことだ？と思いまして。

　もし最近、カナダとアメリカでグレハンのバスチケットを買い、かつそのときにISICを使えた方いらっしゃったら教えていただけますか？もしかしたらサービスで学割にしてくれたのかもしれないですし・・・私が買ったとき。
　
　私の旅行の計画では、バスパスを買うより毎回買ったほうが安かったんです。7日前に買うと安くなるチケットもあるので、どうしてもネットで買いたかったのですが、上記の通り外国人はオフィスのみということでした(;O;)

　グレハンのスタッフが言うことが正しいのは分かってますが、実際に買ってみてこうでしたという情報をいただきたいのです。よろしくお願いいたします

アメリカではそのカードは使えません。ってか割引ははや割りぐらいじゃないでしょうか？
